Today is my 3rd Birthday!! I spent most of the lay lounging around with my mom, later on tonight we are going to spend the night with my aunt Jennifer.

I got frozen green beans in my bowl and a cranberry orange muffin with 3 green bean candles!

Mom said I am not a normal dog, as I ate most of the green beans before even sniffing the muffin!

Then I ate some of the muffin before going back for the rest of my green beans! I love them!

I love birthdays!!

Everyone complains about my bad breath so maa got me these dingo treats and she says they actually work! The good thing about having bad breath is that she carries some of these around in her purse, I basically get some everyday! It's great!

We went camping at the beautiful White Birch Campground in Falmouth, MI and stayed right on the Muskegon river. It was a weekend full of fun with my best friends!

While I was away neglecting my blog I celebrated a birthday and now I am 2!! Also I discovered that Kong makes a toy that are 2 of my favorite things all in one!! A tennis ball AND a squeaky toy!

Do any of you have these amazing balls and been keeping them a secret?

They are just the right size!

I am pretty sure that phoebe the cat chewed moms flip flop and I got punished for it. Stupid cat.

camping, yard sale, ect

I went camping for the first time! Well I went for the day hah.

Mom said I could have some watermelon but when everyone started giving me theirs she cut me off. So no I didn't get to eat all of that.

Here mommy me and my cousins Charlene and Graceann are on a golf cart ride. I was so scared because they are CRAZY drivers.

Mommy and aunt Jenn wore those obnoxious sunglasses all day at our yard sale.

The first day of out yard sale it was super hot so they put water in this tub for me. Trust me when I say that I did not like it as much as these pictures portray. But they were throwing treats in for me to get out.

For those of you that have been looking for my kong, forget it, mom got me a new one! Well its not kong but its similar. She even let me chew it on her bed!!

I am going to try and be on more now that at least aunt Jenn is getting the internet. Until then pups, I will ttyl.

WELL we are all moved but not yet unpacked. Moving in with grandpa is fun! He spoils me and his cat Phoebe is so mean but I am breaking him in.

We don't have the Internet here so we have to go to the library or steal wifi so sorry if I have been slacking. Mommy said she just needs to get back on her feet and then we will be back.

I don't know what the humans are thinking but all of our furniture is gone!!! We have all been sleeping on the floor for a few days already and I am OVER it. Mom says we are moving in with my grandpa and that is fine but what I want to know is WHEN? We are moving because our roomie Suzy is student teaching in the fall so mommy thought it would be a good time to move and save some money. I am going to miss Suzy sooOOo much. :(

On Friday it was my Suzanne's birthday so we went to go lay poolside all day. It was so nice to have a fenced in yard all to myself. UNTIL they put me into the water I was terrified.

Saturday I went to stay with my grandma while all of the adults went to a wedding. Sunday afternoon after granny dropped me off mom, Suzy, aunt Jenn and I went to get ice cream and I got some too!!

Tuesday Jared, mom, and I went for a hike through the woods and over a swamp to find a geocache it was so much fun! There was this shaky wobbly wooden bridge over the swamp, I had a hard time walking on it but we finally made it and I was pooped when I got home.

Father's day weekend.

On fathers day I went to my grandpas house to celebrate. I live in an apartment so I don't have my own yard to run around in. Grandpas yard is not fenced in so the only way that I was allowed to run is with a LONG rope tied to my collar. I have never been off leash before so mom was scared but with the rope attached if I got to close to the road someone could step on the rope and stop me. I don't know why she is so scared I never let her out of my sight anyway. I loved being able to run in the yard.

Starvation: Day 4

Yesterday went really well. I ate all of my brunch when mommy set it out and most of my dinner. I'm liking this new routine, I use the bathroom noticeably less!

Last night mommy and suz had some friends over and we stayed up pretty late so I was shocked when mommy got up at 10am this morning. I walked out into the living room with her and she put my brunch down but I went over to the couch and lay down. What was she thinking? I'm to sleepy to think about food.

Starvation: Day 3

Today was extremely better than the past two. Mommy put my food down and I ate almost all of it in the half hour she left it down! I re-read my post from yesterday and I think it is a bit confusing. I'm not actually on a diet she just thought I was over eating because she free fed me so now we are one a feeding schedule so I don't get over weight. She thinks I am adjusting pretty well. For the first couple of days I would dilly dally and not eat when she put the food down because I assumed it would be out all day but no. I'm getting the hang of it and soon it will just be normal.

Mom got inspired to do this because the other day in the pet store she saw a HUGE puggle and the mommy said she has been dieting her puggle for ever a year and the weight comes off very slowly. I'm glad she at least cares about me enough to not let me get unhealthy.

Starvation: Day 2

OK so I'm not starving BUT I am starting a new "diet." Mommy keeps saying that its a preventative diet to make sure I don't get chunky. A few people have made comments to her that I am "filling out." She also says it will make her a more responsible puggle parent. So basically I only get to eat twice a day and a certain amount each time. She used to leave food out for me all day and I would eat a little here and there, so adjusting to the twice a day feedings are a little confusing. I'm sure I will get used to it.

Right now I weigh a solid 17lbs. I wonder if I will lose weight, or if I wasn't over eating before after all.

OH I did get a few extra treats today because after I was brushed mom said I must have lost a pound of fur! lol

For over a month now my kong ball has been missing. I have been looking high and low for it with no luck. Mommy keeps telling me that I hid it from myself but I am positive that it is lost in the freezer. If you have seen my kong ball please let me know.

To try and get me out of my depression mommy gave me watermelon yesterday and today!

I have been pretty busy lately. We have been going on long long walks each and every day. These walks are tying up my entire day because after our walks I'm just so tired I sleep the rest of the day. Today we only walked around the apt complex so I got to play with my tricky treat ball. They think they are fooling me but I know they don't put treats in it they just put my dinner instead. Oh well its a fun challenge to get it all out.

This is my best kid friend Ashley. Mommy, Ashley, Suzanne, and I went to Gallup Park in Ann Arbor and rented a paddle boat! This was the best group picture we could get even though mommy and I am cut out. Paddle boats are the strangest things. It is a bench that floats and it works just like a bike! It was neat and a bit crowded and with 3 people and a dog it left little room for me to move around. I was glad that they included me though! I saw one other dog out in a canoe!

In the beginning I sat in the middle away from the water. It was a bit scary because it would rock and there were no edges!!

But I got used to it and sat up front with the wind in my ears. I heard them talking about getting me a life jacket so more fun water days are in my future! This swan was following us and at first we thought it was beautiful and exciting but then it got really close and mommy said it was getting mean looking so we tried to get away from it. It was a beautiful day and the park was gorgeous!

There was a playground so Ashley and I went down the slide, it was the perfect day.

Today my best friend Milly and I had a play date. Milly is a Peek-a-Poo (Pekingese/poodle mix).

Even though it was rainy and muddy we got to go to the park anyway! Milly's long fur got really muddy but she had fun!

1. I sleep under the covers most every night with just the tip of my nose sticking out for air.

2. I snore or breath really loud when I sleep . I get woken up a lot when they laugh at how loud I am being.

3. I hide almost EVERY rawhide/treat I get even if minutes later I dig it out and eat/chew it. Then I re-hide it. If you put a blanket or article of clothing on the floor or couch in my apartment I WILL hid something in it so make sure you shake it out when you pick it up.

4. I have TONS of energy. I always hear them say that I could fight sleep for 24 hours straight if I constantly had someone to play with.

5. They say I would win a "whining award" for how much I whine. I don't know how much honesty is in the statement, I mean yeah I whine when I want something and when certain people leave the room, and when I'm bored but doesn't every pup?

6. I am consciously aware of where my mommy is at every second. She has very few pictures of my sleeping because when she moves I open my eyes to see where she is moving to. If I am dead asleep on one couch and she gets up from the other one I will wake up and follow her every time. I don't think she has ever went to the bathroom without me right behind her.

7. One of my all time favorite things to do is to take things off of the two end tables in our apartment. One time while mommy was napping I took our roommate Suzanne's retainers off of the table and chewed them up! When mommy woke and found them she was so mad. I gave her my "isn't everything on those tables for me anyway?!" look and she forgave me. They still talk about it to this day so it must have been a good day for them!

8. Mommy tells people that I was/still am a very stubborn pup. I don't know what stubborn means but I think it means awesome!

9. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to travel. I love riding in the car, staring out the window and getting out of the car in a new place. I go for days at a time to my aunt Jennifer's apartment which is one hour in the car from my apartment. She always take tons of pictures of me which I don't mind. Also my grandpa who I also visit frequently has an old mean de-clawed Siamese cat. The cat does not like me but I tease him and we "play" well he bats at me and I run away.

10. I actually like to take a baths. Mommy fills the tub up with a little water and puts toys in for me and I play. I don't like the soaping up part but that only takes a little time at the end.

The last time Mr. Happy lost all of his stuffing and went away for medical treatment he came back to Lola twice as big! What a suprise!

When did Lola become a shedding machine? Routinely Lola gets a facial and a mani/pedi. During today's grooming session while brushing her with the kong zoom groom brush there was SOO much fur. The zoom brush is a serious lifesaver. AND it feels good/enjoyable.

She is becoming less of a puppy and shedding more like an adult pup.It has been an unusually busy yet fun weekend. Sleep well everyone!

Lola got this great new monster toy from the dollar tree! Who even knew they had dog stuff? She LOVES it. You can put any type of treat inside. She also got new leopard printed tennis balls!

Hello and Good morning

I wish winter would hurry and end. The salt that is on the pavement hurts poor Lola's paws and it is far to cold to be out for long periods of time. As a result of this Lola is getting restless and we are no longer sleeping in past 9:00. (A crazed puggle)

Oh how I long for warm summer days, long walks, warm rides in the car with the windows down wind in my hair/ears and playdates at the dogpark with other pups.(No puggles were harmed while shooting this photo)

NOTE* This post was made very early before we went outside and to our surprise the weather was PERFECT! Yesterday it was 4 degrees and today it was 45 and sunny! It was an awesome day for the dog park and Lola got to see many friends that she had not seen in months.

Hopefully this means one day of sleeping in!
